Megan Remington is a senior at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and will graduate with a BFA in Sculpture in May 2025. Through the use of human-scale forms, she explores ideas of comfort and normalcy, pushing the boundaries of what a functional object can be. She is a recipient of the 2024 Pat Doran Fellowship, as well as the 2023 Summer Workshop Scholarship from the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship, and the 2023 MassArt Emerging Leader Award through her work as a MassArt Restore manager (2022-2024). She continues to hone the skills learned at these organizations through being a teaching assistant in the woodshop, the 2024-2025 Sculpture Department Representative, and working as a SAGE for MassArt Student Galleries. Her work has been exhibited in the 2024 MassArt Auction, Mary Cosgrove Dolphin Gallery, 20th annual ArtsWorcester College Show, and multiple student galleries at MassArt, including the Sculpture All School Show, which she co-curated in 2024, as well as the 2023 and 2024 FA3D departmental shows.
