"Stalactite Table" began as an idea to push the boundaries of sculpture and furniture, aiming to find the space in between, where form and function cohabitate. Despite this being a usable object, not all of its parts serve a utilitarian function. Only four 'stalactite legs' touch the ground, creating a sense of fragility and lightness. Through the process of being roughly shaped on the lathe and then carved by hand, each leg has become its own organic form growing from beneath the table top.
